This is my little koi guy, I've drawn him before but this was more of a revamp for his image, I'm very proud of it hngh

He doesn't have a finalized name yet, so I've given him the nickname of Koi-sama for no

Brief backstory/summary:

     He's from this southern/coastal chain of islands/archipelagos in my world thing (same canon Thorn and a few other prevalent characters I draw are from) The entire region itself is fairly small compared to others but it's rather isolated and has a more eastern Asia feel to it.
Anyways, he was born to a wealthier family, and because of his natural gift for healing and nurturing sickness, he was given the title as priest for his city at age 18. It was a really important/honored role, as it meant he was a direct connection for their gods and was to be taken very seriously.
     This meant he had to swear off distractions such as romantic relationships and wasn't really allowed to leave the area. For the most part he was fine with this, since he was very dedicated to his duties and it gave him time to focus on his hobbies (which was a large koi pond he loved to tend to) but it still was rather boring since he was restricted to his new life. 
However, as time passed and he became in his early twenties, things went sour as a group of bandits from the north moved in closer, and their leader found this place as a perfect opportunity to start a new life and strike it rich. To keep things short, he had basically worked himself a plan to use Koi-sama's own rich inheritance as a plan for his 'retirement,' actually inviting himself over to the temple often to see if he could get close to the wealthy priest.
     Koi-sama, who despite his dedication to his role, found himself falling in love with the man (though more in love with his adventurous origin and false promises) and before anyone knew it, the young priest gave up his title so he could pursue marriage with the unknown bandit. 
     This however was a grave mistake, as shortly after the marriage bonds, the man actually drowned the former priest in his own fish pond, passing it off as an accident to assume full rights to his inheritance. Their gods, angry that Koi-sama was such as dumbass and left his sacred duties to love a man he barely knew, still took pity and took his work as priest into consideration. Koi-sama was reincarnated into a deity himself, being a patron of wealth and good fortune for others. However, because of how foolish he was, Koi-sama gives endless blessings and luck to those around him at the cost of his own misfortune.

His current role is tending to a sacred fish pond where souls of those he's blessed (or those who give worship to him) are given the shape of koi until they are ready to be reincarnated once more. He also brings an absurd amount of luck to anyone he's accompanied by, which means he hides away so it won't come as a cost or danger to himself.

He's fairly shy, but gets agitated really easily.
His hair grows like crazy (which is a pain) and he can assume a full human form or a full fishy form. He's honestly a little vain and has a strong fondness for hair doo-dads. He can summon fishies from the sea into humans and can turn special koi into big ol dragons for his aid
